This bottle was thrown on the wheel.  After bisque firing, it was glazed with my proprietary Space Rock glaze and raku fired. I choose to develop all of my glaze recipes myself, which makes the work more personal.  

The most common combustibles used with my raku pottery are organic materials such as leaves, straw, sawdust, or paper.   Once I apply them to each pottery piece, they melt in the firing and leave some truly spectacular results.
