(New) Gilded Edges Series 7
7”H x 6 1/2”W x 6 1/2”D
This particular piece is part of my Gilded Edges Series and was developed using a thrown bisque mold. The vivid gold, red, orange and blue colors on this raku pottery piece were developed using specially formulated pottery glazes. Using my own recipes, I can transform and control the chemical bonds of each raku pottery piece. This makes my connection to each piece deeper and more personal.
When these metals melt in the firing, they leave some dramatic results. The colors of the glaze depend on the amount of reduction allowed during the raku firing and cooling.
This fantastic one-of-a-kind ceramic vessel will make for a great conversation starter and is at its best within naturally lit spaces. Make it yours today!
