(New) Gilded Edges Series #6
8 H x 6 1/2”W x6 1/2”D
This particular piece is part of my Gilded Edges Bowl Series and was developed using a thrown bisque mold. The vivid gold, red, orange and blue colors on this raku pottery piece were developed using specially formulated pottery glazes. Using my own recipes, I can transform and control the chemical bonds of each raku pottery piece. This makes my connection to each piece deeper and more personal.

Most of my raku work is either thrown on the wheel and altered or built by hand. This particular raku pottery piece was first created on the potter's wheel and shaped before it was fired in the kiln and cooled. Various proprietary glazes were then sprayed, poured and/or painted on the piece before it was raku fired.
