This raku vessel was thrown on the pottery wheel and altered when wet. After bisque firing, it was glazed with my. proprietary glazes and raku fired. After cooling, the surface was abraded. Using my own glazes makes the process more personal.  As with all of my raku ceramics, special proprietary glazes are sprayed, poured and/or painted on until I am happy with the mix of colors and textures.  Using these glazes in my firing process creates unpredictable results and no two pieces are alike.
