Spring Green Globe
9"H x 9"W
This vibrant lime green raku pottery piece was first hand built on the potter’s wheel and altered before being fired and cooled. My proprietary glazes are poured, sprayed and/or painted on the piece before it is raku fired. I choose to develop all of my glaze recipes myself, which makes the work more personal. The most common combustibles used with my raku pottery are organic materials such as leaves, straw, sawdust, or paper. Once I apply them to each pottery piece, they melt in the firing and leave some truly spectacular results. This is a very unique ceramic bowl and makes a wonderful entrance piece for any interior setting.
