Raku Pottery Bowl 4
5.25"H x 4"D x 5"W
This unique ceramic bowl was first handmade on the potter's wheel and then modified to find the formation that I wanted. After the bowl was fired in the bisque kiln and cooled, I applied special proprietary glazes before it was raku fired. The unique textures you see on this pottery piece are the results of the different glazes used in the raku firing process. The colors and the crackle are dependent on the amount of oxygen allowed during the raku firing and cooling. My glaze recipes are all proprietary, which to me makes the work more personal and more intimate.
This is a great piece to add to any collection and complements various interior settings.
