Meteorite Series #1
13"W x 17"H
This raku pot was developed using my own glazes and underglazes, which makes the process more personal. As with all of my raku ceramics, special proprietary glazes are sprayed, poured and/or painted on until I am happy with the mix of colors and textures. Using these glazes in my firing process creates unpredictable results and no two pieces are alike.

This particular vessel was thrown on the wheel and altered. It is the first piece from my Meteorite Series and is a delicate mix of colors, surface patterns and reflective properties. These characteristics invite the viewer in for a closer look and help to make this raku pottery piece a definite conversation starter and a wonderful stand alone piece for any interior setting.
The top is removable for easy shipping.
