I had great firings today.  This week I’ve discovered a new glaze combo and a successful, new form!  There’s nothing like success to make me feel great.  I’ve included an image of a funky shape that was fun to make and glaze.  This one was raku fired four times. I also fired a piece that should appeal to those who like browns and grays.  This one feature’s the new glaze surface i mentioned yesterday. Being one who likes bright colors, I was initially disappointed.  However, the piece has grown on me and now I really like it.  Anyhow, life is great!  I’m really glad I became a potter rather than spending 30 years being an advertising account executive (which was my first corporate career).
