I had several outstanding firings today. I finished my first piece from the “Winged Bowl” series and you can check it out above. I think it’s a great new direction! As many of you know, I create all of my own glazes, but I must admit, I’ve used commercial underglazes and glaze on this one, in addition to my glaze creations. This one was fired in raku 4 times. I also discovered a great new surface that combines 2 new glazes and will have an example of this up in a day or two.
